A fantastic exhibition celebrating volunteering at the 2014 Commonwealth Games is at the People’s Palace. Co-produced by the Games volunteers and Glasgow Museums, the exhibition explores the impact the Games have had on the people of Glasgow.

Ibrahim, a volunteer at The Hidden Gardens, volunteered at the Games and is featured in the exhibition. He interviewed our Volunteering Manager Andrea, and the footage is displayed in the exhibition. We hope the newfound fame does not change Andrea.

We’re going Round in Circles with Glasgow Museums

This Saturday 30th November we’re taking part inĀ Glasgow Museums‘ Round in Circles. It’s a celebration of the best (and only) circular train line, the Cathcart Circle. It’s going to be a fascinating day, with activities at Pollokshields East, Maxwell Park and Cathcart station. Maybe we’re biased, but we think Pollokshields East is going to be the best.

We’ll be there from 10.30, and hope you can join us. If only to get the first look at our snazzy new kiosk!
